The Asken Freeform Wall Art is made of irregular pieces of wood that have been artistically placed by hand in an asymmetrical pattern. Providing the sculptural piece with added interest are the cut-outs, or negative spaces, in a number of the wood blocks. This piece of freeform wall art was created with painstaking precision that only the most talented craftspeople can achieve. Also bringing the piece a feel of authenticity is the fact that the wood is reclaimed so the natural characteristics of the material’s life before becoming art adds tremendous patina.
