At Safavieh, we roll out the red carpet for you with our own fleet of trucks and professional technicians to deliver and place your new Safavieh purchases in your home. Our white-glove, in-home delivery service ensures that every new piece of Safavieh furniture is displayed safely and exactly how you want it.
Our Customer Service & Shipping Logistics teams are dedicated to getting your purchased items shipped to you as safely and efficiently as possible. Please make sure to read this shipping policy carefully to learn more about how and when your order will ship. How Shipping Works
For furniture and larger rugs, we offer LTL Freight shipping via Metropolitan – a service we've successfully used in our retail stores for years. We take great care to ensure your orders arrive in perfect condition. For smaller items such as rugs, pillows, and accessories, shipping is handled through FedEx Ground at no additional cost, if in stock.

White Glove Delivery

Our White Glove Delivery includes in-home delivery, careful placement of your items, and removal of packaging materials. A fixed fee of $200 per order applies (not per item), or 4% of your order if it exceeds $5,000.

Additional Shipping Charges*

An additional shipping fee of $150 may apply for deliveries to remote location or if extra packaging or crating is required for fragile items. Customers will be notified via email and given the option to cancel their purchase for a full refund. 

Estimated Shipping Times

LTL Items: Stock merchandise is typically delivered within 4-10 weeks or ordering. Special order merchandise may take 6-12 weeks. Please note these dates are estimates–we always strive to deliver your order within or before the specified time frame.

FedEx Shipments: Tracking information is usually emailed 2-3 days after your order is placed, and most items arrive within 5 business days if in stock.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship within the contiguous United States only. We do not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico.

Returns & Exchanges

Merchandise can be returned under limited circumstances. Upon an orders arrival, we ask that customers carefully inspect their product(s) for any damages or defects. Contact help@safaviehhome.com within 7 days of receiving your purchase in order to initiate a return. Upon contacting us, we will consider your case, and if approved, you will be issued you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Once you have been issued an RMA number, you may send back your item. Refunds on returned items can take 2-3 weeks to process. *Please note some vendors do not permit returns and are final sale unless item(s) arrived damaged from transit. Safavieh reserves the right to offer returns on final sale and vendor items in coordination with one of our participating retail locations. These returning items will be subject to the return policy of the retail locations. They return policy for our retail locations is a 50% restocking fee and a 50% store credit. Contact us if you have a question about a particular item.

Returning items shipped without an RMA will not be eligible for refund. Postage for returns is paid for by the customer. Please make sure your purchased item is in the original packaging and without any damages before sending. Items received damaged will not be eligible for refund.

In the event that an item arrives damaged, be sure to contact us at help@safaviehhome.com - typically removal will be covered by Safavieh Home unless item is approved for field destroyed. You can contact us via our live chat prompt, or at 516-945-8015.

For items shipped with White Glove Delivery & LTL Freight shipments the SALE IS FINAL and cannot be refused. The customer is responsible for any return freight shipping costs. The only exception is if the wrong item is sent or if item arrives damaged. In that case we can offer Safavieh Home store credit equal to the products value or we can have it shipped back and send a replacement. The return of damaged items will be covered by the vendor unless the item is deemed available for field destroy procedures.

Cancellations Policy

To request a cancellation, please email help@safaviehhome.com.

You may cancel your order for a full refund as long as the shipping process has not begun. Once shipping has started, cancellations are no longer possible, and our return policy will apply instead. 

Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that your order is canceled. Our team will attempt to locate and halt the shipment. This process can take up to 3 business days, and we will confirm once the cancellation is successful. 

Orders Not Eligible for Cancellation:

  • Final Sale Items
  • Shipping Service Upgrades
  • Held Orders/Shipments

Important: Any order marked as "Released" or "Shipped" by the manufacturer, it cannot be canceled. This includes orders delayed due to LTL (freight) shipping. If a freight delivery is refused, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs. 

International Shipping

If you would like to have an order shipped outside the United States, please email us at help@safaviehhome.com with the following information: A link to the product page and the item SKU you wish to order, the total quantity you wish to order and the final delivery address and we'll get back to you immediately. Please be aware that International Orders are subject to duties/taxes, these are the customers obligation to pay. We have experience shipping large pieces of delicate furniture intact so we welcome any requests.
