Return Policy


Estimated delivery time for customers own material special orders, begins when factory receives all customer’s material. Time is not of the essence. The customer accepts responsibility for bringing furniture into premises and making sure that items purchased can be entered through the entrance, elevator, hallways, doorways, etc… Customer bears the costs of hoisting and unusual delivery methods. All non-drop shipments made outside of NY, NJ, or CT will be shipped using freight delivery services. If customer refuses delivery contingent upon the aforementioned conditions, the customer is liable to a 25% restocking fee. If customers own items are moved by Safavieh it is at customer’s risk. Safavieh is not responsible for any damage to customer’s property unless reported before delivery driver leaves premises. Standard lead time for online orders is 5-7 business days. For vendor or non-Safavieh branded items, please allow up to 4-8 weeks for delivery as these are special orders.

Special/Custom Orders

Special and custom orders cannot be cancelled after 72 hours. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before production can begin. Safavieh makes no warranty of Suitability or Merchantability of any product for any particular place or use. Balance is due before delivery. Merchandise held over 30 days from availability to delivery must be paid in full and is subject to storage charges. Safavieh will make every effort to produce the Special Order Item in the specified time, however due to the nature of hand made rugs and bench-made furniture, delivery time is only an estimate. There is a three (3) inch variance in measurements. Color shades and textures may vary.


Online purchases, except special ordered items may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of receiving your product. All returns must be sent back to us in the same condition of arrival with original packaging. Please do not dispose of packing materials, otherwise it cannot be returned. Commercially shipped items are subject to free return shipping. Special order, non-Safavieh brand, and vendor items are not cancelable after 72 hours from date of invoice. All Safavieh Dream mattresses, non-Safavieh brand, clearance, sale and floor sample items are final sale and not returnable. Exchanges and returns for specially shipped items are subject to re-delivery and/or shipping charges. There are no returns or exchanges on internationally shipped items. Merchandise is warranted against manufacturers defects. No merchandise is warranted for suitability or merchantability for a particular place or use or wearability or against fading. Normal wear and tear is not warranted. Safavieh will repair or replace, at its option, any items that are defective. Safavieh’s warranty is non transferrable.

Softening of a cushion core or loss of cushion crown is also typical with use. These normal conditions are not manufacturers’ defects and are not covered under this warranty. Any damage upon delivery must be noted on the delivery receipt. Damage not noted on delivery receipt will be determined to be customer damage, and not warranted. Visible defects or variance to order details must be brought to our attention within 7 days of delivery. Issues not presented within 7 days of delivery will be considered acceptable and will not be warranted.
